The program is an immersion into the life of a research scientist, including a closely mentored 8 week research project, regular lab meetings, seminar series, professional development, and research colloquium. We aim to provide opportunities in research career training for undergraduates from groups under-represented, especially those with disadvantage, who may not otherwise have such opportunities. Stipends for students are covered by the program. Session: June 16-August 8, 2014, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Requirements: GPA: 3.0 or above; students must be enrolled in a university/college at time of application; complete and application and essay; copy of academic transcripts; references.
