Technology Test Kitchen

Skutt Student Center, Ballroom

Wednesday, April 25, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

What’s cooking with technology at Creighton? The Division of Information Technology & Library Services and our commercial partners, are offering Creighton’s first Technology Test Kitchen on Wednesday, April 25th. Take a break and join us in the Skutt Student Center Ballroom from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm to experience the technologies that Creighton has to offer.

Have you wondered how to use a 3D printer? What else is in Office 365 besides Word and Outlook? Do you know what Zoom is? Have you experienced Virtual Reality? Do know how the Omaha Public Library can help with technology training? Come to the Tech Test Kitchen to find out!

The Tech Test Kitchen provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to experience the technology and ask questions in a fun environment. And, of course, no test kitchen is complete without snacks and swag. Our Tech Test Kitchen stations will include these fun recipes:

• How to Use 3D Printing (Reinert Library)
• Experience Virtual & Augmented Reality? (RaDLab)
• Storing My Documents in the Cloud with One Drive (Microsoft)
• Creating a Zoom Web Conferencing Session (IT)

• Technology Resources (Omaha Public Library)
• Using a Portable Green Screen (Reinert Library)
