Title IX and Tacos

The U.S. Department of Education has proposed a new set of regulations that will fundamentally alter the way colleges and schools address sexual misconduct under Title IX. These regulations have been published for review by the public. The Department of Education has invited public comment on the proposed new rules through January 28, 2019.

The Office of Equity and Inclusion and the Title IX Advisory Committee are hosting two informational sessions on the proposed regulations to help the campus community understand these proposed changes and the impact they would have on Creighton and other schools across the country. These sessions will provide an overview of the changes, an explanation of the public comment period, and a step-by-step guide to submitting your own comments to the Department of Education.
