David Blight Lecture

David Blight, a scholar of slavery, race, and the Civil War at Yale University, will deliver a lecture followed by a book signing of "Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom." Books will be available for purchase.

In addition, "Living Historian" Michael Crutcher will appear as Douglass, reenacting a speech given in Omaha in 1893.
