2019 CU Empty Bowls Project - Benefit for Siena/Francis House Homeless Shelter

Lied Center for Performing Arts, Lied Art Gallery, Lobby Level
24th St and Cass, Omaha, NE

Thursday, December 5, 2019 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

If you enjoy fine art and great soup, please plan to attend Creighton University’s “Empty Bowls Project,” a fundraiser for the Siena/Francis House Homeless Shelter. When you purchase a beautiful, handmade ceramic bowl (most in the $5-$10 range), you will also receive a complimentary bowl of soup to enjoy, generously donated by the University’s Student Life and Creighton Dining. And, you’ll also be supporting a good cause. Creighton University ceramics students, faculty, staff, and many other volunteers have created one-of-a kind pieces of pottery for this unique project. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Siena/Francis House Homeless Shelter.
The 2019 CU Empty Bowls Project will be held from 4-8p.m. on Wednesday, December 4 and from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 5 in the Lied Education Center for the Arts Lied Art Gallery, located on the northeast corner of 24th & Cass Street on the Creighton University campus.
