Come hear selections read by author, Danielle Vella, to encounter the stories of the forcibly displaced. Local Partner, Lutheran Family Services, and local community leader, James Bol Chuol, will also share their experiences and work.
Newly printed photos of refugees photographed by Fr. Don Doll, SJ will be on display during the dessert reception. After the talk, we invite you to meet with campus and community partners to consider Ignatian advocacy to support refugee protections and education or find out more how you can support local refugee communities in Omaha.
Books will be available for purchase on site, your purchase of this book helps support the work and mission of Jesuit Refugee Service.
