Danielle Vella creates spaces of hospitality and welcome between refugees and host communities, and among JRS teams. She has previously served with the African Jesuit AIDS Network, Vatican Radio, and The Tablet, Times of Malta and The Malta Independent.Come hear Vella read selections from her book and also hear from Lutheran Family Services and community leader James Bol Chuol. Vella’s new book reveals the extraordinary, compelling and often heartbreaking stories of refugees’ experiences around the world. Her book will be available for purchase; proceeds will help support the Jesuit Refugee Service.
