The Holy Bible itself uses stories to shape behaviors, cultural norms, and core values. As teachers we hope to “influence” our learners to learn. Through narrative pedagogy we discover an advancement of inquiry that is unique in the field of education and especially unique in the field of scientific and practice education. Learning IS NOT knowledge transfer, without affective context of learning knowledge doesn’t stick. Rather teaching and learning evolves from the “lived” experience.

The participants will:
• Learn how to tell a good story
• Use appreciative inquiry to identify themes
• Identify how story telling might be used as a pedagogical technique in their classrooms
